बैंकॉक (थाईलैंड) (मीडियाभारती सिंडीकेशन सर्विस): पहली बार मां बनने जा रही युवतियों के लिए वेबसाइट फर्स्टटाइममदर्स.इन (Firsttimemothers.in) लॉन्च की गई है।

संयुक्त राष्ट्र में एशियन फोरम ऑफ पार्लियामेंटेरियन्स फॉर पॉपूलेशन एंड डेवलपमेंट (एएफपीपीडी) के कार्यकारी निदेशक शिव खरे ने बटन दबाकर वेबसाइट को लॉन्च किया।

इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए खरे ने कहा कि स्वास्थ्य शिक्षा और नियोजित तरीके से बच्चों के पालन-पोषण के लिए जरूरी बातों को जानने के लिए इस तरह की वेबसाइटों की महती आवश्यकता है।

फर्स्टटाइममदर्स.इन की संपादक मुक्ता के. खंडेलवाल ने कहा कि पहली बार मां बनने जा रही युवतियों को इस वेबसाइट के जरिए बहुत सहायता मिलेगी। उन्होंने बताया कि गर्भावस्था के दौरान खाने-पीने से लेकर स्वास्थ्य संबंधी और दूसरी सभी तरह की समस्याओं से निजात पाने के लिए दुनियाभर के वरिष्ठ विशेषज्ञों की सेवाएं यहां मौजूद होंगी।

Bangkok (Thailand): Website Firsttimemothers.in, dedicated to first time mothers, launched at a simple ceremony here.

Shiv Khare, Executive Director of Asian Forum of Parliamentarians for Population and Development (AFPPD) under the flag of United Nations, pressed the button to launch the site.

On the occasion, Khare said, 'Such websites are necessary for health education and planned parenthood to create better awareness and understanding.'

It is a great pleasure to present you Kadahi.com (कड़ाही.कॉम), an attractive and user friendly food guide.

I recall that eventful evening when I was discussing some delicious food recipes with Dharmendra Kumar,

Editor, Mediabharti.com, at Home. The topic of discussion was… some interesting food recipes,

preparations and their effects on health. Kumar suggested that the eating, outing are considered as

luxuries in our society, so there is a need to run a campaign, by which those people should also can get a
association who are called as Haven’ts…

We discussed it very long and finally stopped at a conclusion… Why should not we start a complete food
website and try to associate those people also with us. So we have lots of camps, food parties with every
segment of society in pipeline in coming years.

Kadahi.com would be an ideal platform for those also who have love for food and want to show their
talent to everyone.

That is how the seed was sown… Idea immediately struck and work began…

Let me now tell you about the features that have been incorporated in Kadahi.com for our valuable fans

There are only two advertisement modules to ensure visitors don’t get irritated or inconvenienced. All the

Now, I like to share with you how I have been helped by my friends who have put in a lot of hard work
and imagination. I would like to name some of my friends who helped me. Original idea for logo was
given by Aarti Verma, well known web designer.

जब किसी ने न सुनी फरियाद तो अदालत में लगाई गुहार...

दुबई की बिन खादिम कंपनी के तेल वाहक जहाज अल वतूल पर तैनात कराए गए नौ भारतीय युवकों का अभी तक कोई अता-पता नहीं है। थक हारकर परिजनों ने अहमदाबाद हाईकोर्ट की शरण ली है। परिजनों का कहना है कि सरकार और आरोपी सी-हॉर्स अकादमी इस मामले में ढिलाई बरत रहे हैं।
लापता नाविकों में से एक भूपेंद्र सिंह के पिता राजेंद्र सिंह चौधरी द्वारा गत 24 मार्च को सी-हॉर्स अकादमी ऑफ मर्चेंट नेवी के खिलाफ एफआईआर दर्ज कराने के बाद अदालत ने 29 जून को मामले की सुनवाई की।

मामला कुछ इस तरह है कि वलसाड के भूपेंद्र सिंह, जयपुर के विकास चौधरी, भूमराम रूंदला और रतिराम जाट (दोनों भाई), रांची के अमित कुमार, लुधियाना के जितेंद्र सिंह, भिवानी के विक्रम सिंह, रेवाड़ी के नरेंद्र कुमार, महाराष्ट्र के प्रकाश जाधव तथा अलीगढ़ के श्रवण सिंह ने हैदराबाद स्थित इस मर्चेंट नेवी प्रशिक्षण संस्थान में प्रवेश लिया था। कोर्स के दौरान ही ऑन बोर्ड ट्रेनिंग और नौकरी का वादा किए जाने के चलते इन छात्रों को एजेंटों के जरिए दुबई की बिन खादिम कंपनी के तेल वाहक जहाज अल वतूल पर तैनाती करा दी गई। युवकों ने अपने परिजनों को बताया था कि वे शारजाह से ईरान तेल के आयात-निर्यात करने वाले जहाज पर तैनात हैं। पिछले साल माह फरवरी के अंतिम सप्ताह में ये लोग शारजाह के लिए रवाना हुए और अप्रैल तक ये लोग अपने परिजनों से संपर्क करते रहे। बाद में पता लगा कि अल वतूल जहाज को ईरानी कोस्टल गार्ड ने अपने कब्जे में ले लिया है। ज्यादा छानबीन की गई तो पता चला कि जहाज रास्ता भटककर ईरानी सीमा में चला गया और जहाज पर तैनात सभी कर्मियों को तस्करी के आरोप में गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है।

15 मई, 2010 को इनमें से एक युवक श्रवण सिंह की मौत हो गई।

लापता नाविकों के परिजनों ने बंदर अब्बास स्थित भारतीय वाणिज्य दूतावास से संपर्क किया। लेकिन आश्वासनों के अलावा कोई खास मदद नहीं मिली।

इस संबंध में सभी लापता नाविकों के परिजन अभी तक राष्ट्रपति प्रतिभादेवी सिंह पाटिल और गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से मदद की गुहार लगा चुके हैं।

पिछले दिनों जंतर-मंतर पर अनशन भी किया जा चुका है। लेकिन अभी तक कोई सफलता नहीं मिली है।

और धूं-धूंकर जल उठा विमान आसमान में....

फरीदाबाद (भारत): फरीदाबाद में एक छोटा चार्टर्ड प्लेन हादसे का शिकार हो गया। इस हादसे में 10 लोग मारे गए और 3 लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। ‘पीसी 12 हार्टजेल’ विमान वास्तव में एम्बुलेन्स फ्लाइट थी, जिसमें एक मरीज सहित सात लोग थे।
विमान में एक मरीज राहुल राज (20 वर्ष), दो पायलट- कैप्टन हरप्रीत और कैप्टन मंजीत कटारिया, दो डॉक्टर- डॉ. अरशद एवं डॉ. राजेश, सिरील नामक एक पुरुष नर्स और मरीज का एक परिजन रत्नेश कुमार सवार थे। पटना के जयप्रकाश नारायण अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे के निदेशक अरविंद दुबे ने बताया कि विमान ने वहां से साढ़े सात बजे उड़ान भरी।
यह चार्टर्ड विमान मरीज राहुल राज को लेकर दिल्ली आ रहा था। विमान करीब 10 बजकर 35 मिनट पर वायुसेना स्टेशन के समीप पर्वतीय कॉलोनी में एक मकान पर गिरकर दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गया।
राहुल के पिता और चाचा राहुल के पहुंचने से पहले खुद दिल्ली पहुंच गए, ताकि यहां सारा इंतजाम पहले से हो जाए। अस्पताल की सारी औपचारिकताएं पूरी करने के बाद वे राहुल के आने का इंतजार करने लगे। समय काटने के लिए वे लोग टीवी देख रहे थे, तभी उन्हें इस दर्दनाक हादसे की खबर मिली। इस हादसे की खबर जैसे ही बेतिया में राहुल के घर पहुंची, वहां मातम छा गया।
इस प्लेन क्रैश में तीन लोग घायल हुए हैं, जिन्हें फरीदाबाद के बीके अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। ये वे लोग हैं, जो हादसे के बाद लोगों को बचाने के लिए मौके पर पहुंचे थे, लेकिन राहत और बचाव का काम करते हुए जख्मी हो गए।

प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों का कहना है कि रात करीब साढ़े 10 बजे एकाएक धूल भरी आंधी आई। उसी दौरान आसमान में धू-धू की आवाज को सुनकर लोग घबरा गए, लेकिन बादलों के कारण लोगों को विमान साफ-साफ नजर नहीं आया। इससे पहले कि लोग कुछ समझ पाते, विमान पर्वतीय कालोनी के एक मकान पर जा गिरा।
पटना स्थित जगदीश मेमोरियल अस्पताल के डॉ. आलोक कुमार ने बताया कि 20 वर्षीय राहुल जिगर की बीमारी से पीड़ित था और 22 मई को इस अस्पताल में उसे भर्ती कराया गया था। उसकी हालत बिगड़ने पर उसके चचेरे भाई रत्नेश कुमार ने दिल्ली स्थित अपोलो अस्पताल से संपर्क किया और वहां के दो डॉक्टरों के साथ उसने एंबुलेन्स फ्लाइट बुलवाई थी। इसी फ्लाइट से राहुल को दिल्ली स्थित अपोलो अस्पताल लाया जा रहा था। बताया जाता है कि बेतिया के रहने वाले राजेश कुमार का बेटा राहुल कोमा में था।

विमान गिरने के बाद घर में आग लग गई थी। दमकल विभाग की गाड़ियों ने आग पर काबू पा लिया। जवाहर कालोनी स्थित अपने घर की छत से विमान को गिरते देख रही प्रत्यक्षदर्शी ऋचा गुप्ता के अनुसार आग की लपटें दूर-दूर तक देखी गईं। कुछ अन्य प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार विमान में आग हवा में ही लग गई थी। लोगों ने जलता हुआ विमान गिरते देखा।

India Marches Against Corruption…

New Delhi (India) (Mediabharti Syndication Service): Come 30th January and thousands of people in many cities across India and abroad will take to streets to demand effective anti-corruption law and passage of Jan Lokpal Bill.

In Delhi, Swami Agnivesh, Kiran Bedi, Arvind Kejriwal, Anna Hazare, Prashant Bhushan, Maulana Mahmood Madani, Vincent M Concessao and others will march from Ramlila Grounds to Jantar Mantar, the day Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated, at 1 pm to demand enactment of a law to set up an effective anti-corruption body called Lokpal at the Centre and Lokayukta in each state (the existing Lokayukta Acts being weak and ineffective). Large number of college students, professionals from corporate sector, teachers RWA members, government employees, lawyers, doctors and others will participate in this march.

Kiran Bedi, Justice Santosh Hegde, Prashant Bhushan, JM Lyngdoh and others have drafted this Bill. A nation wide movement called ‘India Against Corruption’ has been started by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Swami Ramdev, Swami Agnivesh, Vincent M Concessao, Kiran Bedi, Arvind Kejriwal, Anna Hazare, Devinder Sharma, Sunita Godara, Mallika Sarabhai and many others to persuade government to enact this Bill.

UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi recently announced that Lokpal would be set up. However, the Lokpal suggested by the government is only a showpiece. It will have jurisdiction over politicians but not bureaucrats, as if politicians and bureaucrats indulge in corruption separately. And the most interesting part is that like other anti-corruption bodies in our country, the government is making Lokpal also an advisory body. So, Lokpal will recommend to the government to prosecute its ministers. Will any prime minister have the political courage to do that?

बचपन से अब तक मां-बाप, अध्यापकों और किताबों से जो थोड़ी-बहुत जानकारी धर्मगुरुओं के बारे में मिली, उससे उनकी एक छवि दिमाग पर अंकित हो गई... एक वृद्ध, कृशकाय शरीर, ममता से भरा अतिसंवेदनशील व्यक्तित्व... उनके पास जब भी आप जाएंगे, वही ममता पाएंगे, जो मां की गोद में मिलती है... वही सहारा मिलेगा, जो पिता अपने बच्चे को देता है... वही ज्ञान मिलेगा, जो एक अच्छा अध्यापक अपने प्रिय शिष्य को देता है...
मेरे दिमाग में अंकित इस छवि को सबसे पहले तोड़ा, मेरे एक सहपाठी ने... पत्रकारिता संस्थान के दिनों में मेरे एक साथी ने खुलासा किया कि वह पत्रकारिता का कोर्स सिर्फ इसलिए कर रहा था, क्योंकि उसके भाई एक 'उभरते' हुए कथावाचक थे और उसे कालांतर में भैया का 'पब्लिक रिलेशन' विभाग संभालना था। उस समय मेरे लिए यह किसी आश्चर्य से कम नहीं था, परंतु उसका कहना था, कथावाचन करोड़ों का पेशा है और 'धन-पशु' मोटा चढ़ावा और दान दिया करते हैं... कथावाचन के पेशे में आगे बढ़ने के लिए 'तकनीकी' रूप से जागरूक होना अनिवार्य है, अत:, पत्रकारिता की जानकारी और परिचय बनाने भी जरूरी हैं...
इसके बाद संयोग से मेरे पत्रकारिता जीवन की शुरुआत में मुझे भी धर्म-कर्म की खबरों के संकलन का ही काम दिया गया, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप कई धर्मगुरुओं, मठाधीशों और महंतों से मेरा साबका पड़ा... मुझे याद है, हमारे प्रभारी ने मुझे आगरा के मन:कामेश्वर मंदिर के 'नामी-गिरामी' महंत से मिलने का निर्देश दिया, क्योंकि तत्कालीन मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्री डॉ. मुरली मनोहर जोशी ने ज्योतिष को पाठ्यक्रम में शामिल कराया था, जिस पर महंत जी के विचार जानने थे... मेरे लिए किसी 'स्टार' महंत से साक्षात्कार का यह पहला अवसर होने वाला था... जब मैं उनके पास पहुंचा तो बताया गया कि महंतजी भोजन कर रहे हैं। मुझे उनके कक्ष के बाहर प्रतीक्षा के निर्देश दिए गए...
इस दौरान मस्तिष्क में यही चलता रहा कि एक ममतामयी मां, एक परवाह करने वाले पिता और एक ज्ञानी अध्यापक से मिलने जा रहा हूं... कुछ ही क्षण बाद मुझे अंदर बुलाया गया, परंतु वहां का वैभव मेरे मन में बसी छवि के लिए कुठाराघात सिद्ध हुआ... मैं दंग रह गया, और महंतजी बॉलीवुड की फिल्मों की तरह सुनहरे सिंहासन पर विराजमान थे... खैर, मैंने सवाल किए, और उन्होंने अपनी राय दे दी... मैं चलता बना...
बाहर निकलने के बाद मैं बेहद सकते की सी हालत में था, बचपन से बनी छवि के छिन्न-भिन्न हो जाने के कारण... परिणाम यह रहा कि कुछ दिन के बाद ही जब मुझे संत आसाराम बापू के आगरा प्रवास के दौरान उनका साक्षात्कार लेने का निर्देश मिला, तब मैंने अपने प्रभारी से अनिच्छा जताई, और उन्होंने भी मेरी प्रार्थना का सम्मान रखते हुए किसी अन्य साथी को वह काम सौप दिया... बाद में आसाराम बापू के साथ क्या-क्या हुआ, सब जानते हैं...
ऐसे ही किस्से सुन-सुनकर धर्म के प्रति अगाध निष्ठा होने के बावजूद धर्मगुरुओं के प्रति मेरे मन में सम्मान के स्थान पर आश्चर्यजनक रूप से ग्लानि भाव बढ़ने लगा... कालांतर में, मैं दिल्ली आ गया और यहां भी मुझे कई 'संतों' के बारे में करीब से जानने का अवसर प्राप्त हुआ... धर्म के ठेकेदारों के पास भी किसी कॉरपोरेट की ही तरह 'फ्रेंचाइज़ी' हो सकते हैं, होते हैं, यह यहां आकर ही पता चला... किसी 'भगवान' के पास भक्तों की दी करोड़ों की संपत्ति है, किसी के पास किसी ट्रस्ट या वक्फ की आड़ है, और किसी के पास करोड़ों के टर्नओवर वाला दवाओं का व्यापार... कुछ के पास बाकायदा 24 घंटे लगातार प्रसारण करने वाले टीवी चैनल भी हैं, लेकिन संपत्ति भक्तों की बताई जाती है... धंधे अलग-अलग होने के बावजूद जो बात इन सभी बाबाओं में समान है, वह है संन्यास और निर्मोह जीवन की बातें और करोड़ों का ज़खीरा...

ये बाबा और 'भगवान' राजाओं-महाराजाओं की तरह आम जनता से मिलते हैं, 'दरबार' लगाते हैं और व्यापार का कोई मौका नहीं चूकते... कई ऐसे संत भी हैं, जिनके भूतकाल या यूं कहिए, 'वाल्मीकि' जीवन के बारे में यदा-कदा खबरें मिलती रहती हैं... लेकिन धंधे की पराकाष्ठा क्या हो सकती है, यह तय नहीं कर पा रहा था... अब ऐसा लगता है, पराकाष्ठा की तलाश शायद खत्म हो जाएगी... हाल ही में भगवद्भूमि कहे जाने वाले वृंदावन में एक पॉपुलर 'संत' ने अपनी ही पत्नी (जो प्राचीन काल में गुरु की पत्नी होने के नाते मां-समान कही जाती थीं) और अन्य सगे-संबंधियों की अश्लील (ब्लू) फिल्में बनाकर इस व्यवसाय में हाथ आजमाया... इन फिल्मों की विशेषता 'घर के अभिनेताओं' के अतिरिक्त पृष्ठभूमि में मौजूद धार्मिकस्थल, भगवानों की मूर्तियां, तथा दीवारों पर लिखे सूत्रवाक्य हैं... उक्त 'संत' ने ऐसा क्यों किया, इसके कारण सोचने का प्रयास करने पर फिलहाल एक ही बात समझ आती है, कि शायद विदेशी बाज़ार में इस ‘कॉन्टेन्ट’ की ज्यादा मांग है... मामले की पोल तब खुली, जब 'संत' जी का कम्प्यूटर खराब हो गया और सही करने वाले ने पूरा 'बैकअप' लेकर शहर-भर में मुफ्त बांट दिया... अब 'संत' जी फरार हैं, पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है... कहा जा रहा है कि यह गोरखधंधा दो-तीन साल से जारी था...
इसके अलावा भी कुछ और जानकारी पुलिस तंत्र से छन-छनकर आ रही है... ऐसे अन्य संत भले ही अपनी पत्नियों या बेटियों की ब्लू फिल्में नहीं बना रहे होंगे, लेकिन 'धंधा' वे भी चलाते हैं... जिसके लिए पूरा 'तंत्र' बना रहता है, 'ऑफिस बियरर' भी होते हैं, 'पब्लिक रिलेशन ऑफिसर' भी... 'मार्केटिंग मैनेजर' भी होते हैं, और यहां तक कि मीडिया में भी 'सेटिंग' रहती है... बाबा अपने नाम का जितना ज़्यादा प्रचार करवा पाएगा, उतना ही भक्तों की गिनती बढ़ेगी, और उसी अनुपात में बढ़ेगा, आश्रम में पहुंचने वाला चढ़ावा... प्रवचन के दौरान भी चढ़ावे के वजन के हिसाब से भक्तों को बैठने का स्थान दिया जाता है... 'बड़े' भक्त आगे, बाबा के करीब, और 'छोटे' भक्त पीछे की ओर... जितना ज्यादा चढ़ावा, उतना ही संत जी के करीब पहुंचेगा भक्त...
अब एक बात हम सभी के लिए... संतों की इस 'बिजनेस व्यवस्था' को पनपने देने के लिए दरअसल हम आम धर्मभीरु नागरिक ही जिम्मेदार हैं, जो अपनी परेशानियों को दूर करने के लिए भगवान से मदद चाहते हैं, और उसी उद्देश्य से आगा-पीछा सोचे बिना बाबाओं की गोद में जाकर बैठ जाते हैं... ऐसे ही अंधभक्तों की बदौलत चलता है, आस्था का यह कारोबार... अब देखना यह है कि कब खुलती हैं हमारी आंखें, वरना धंधे में नीचे गिरने की पराकाष्ठा रोज़ बदलती रहेंगी...

वे लौट के फिर ना आए...

आंखों में सपने लिए, घर से वे चल तो दिए लेकिन राहें उन्हें न जाने कहां ले गईं। घर-परिवार के लोग ढूंढ़ते रहे और बीते आठ महीनों से तो कोई संदेशा भी नहीं आया। आई तो उनमें से एक की लाश, एक बैरंग लिफाफे की तरह। लाश... लेने के लिए भी नियोक्ता कंपनी ने मांगे तीन लाख रुपये, पैसे थे नहीं... आखिर, लाश तो मिल गई लेकिन लग गए और दो महीने। अब अंतिम संस्कार करके घर में मां-बाप और बहन-भाई बैठे हैं, रो रहे हैं कि आखिर किस बुरी घड़ी में उन्होंने अपने जिगर के टुकड़े को शारजाह जाने की अनुमति दे दी।

ये कहानी उनमें से एक की है। बाकी और नौ घरों के चिराग हैं जिनके बारे में अभी कोई खबर नहीं है।

वलसाड के भूपेंद्र सिंह, जयपुर के विकास चौधरी, भूमराम रूंदला और रतिराम जाट (दोनों भाई), रांची के अमित कुमार, लुधियाना के जितेंद्र सिंह, भिवानी के विक्रम सिंह, रेवाड़ी के नरेंद्र कुमार, महाराष्ट्र के प्रकाश जाधव तथा अलीगढ़ के सरवन सिंह ने हैदराबाद के एक मर्चेंट नेवी प्रशिक्षण संस्थान में प्रवेश लिया। कोर्स के दौरान ही ऑन बोर्ड ट्रेनिंग और नौकरी का वादा किए जाने के चलते इन छात्रों को एजेंटों के जरिए दुबई की बिन खादिम कंपनी के तेल वाहक जहाज अल वतूल पर तैनाती करा दी गई। युवकों ने अपने परिजनों को बताया था कि वे शारजाह से ईरान तेल के आयात-निर्यात करने वाले जहाज पर तैनात हैं।

माह फरवरी के अंतिम सप्ताह में ये लोग शारजाह के लिए रवाना हुए। अप्रैल तक ये लोग अपने परिजनों से संपर्क करते रहे। लेकिन यकायक यह सिलसिला बंद हो गया। घर के लोगों की चिंताएं बढ़ीं तो उन्होंने खोजबीन शुरू की। सबसे पहले उन एजेंटों से बात की गई जिनके जरिए इन युवकों की तैनाती कराई गई थी। कुछ दिन तक ये एजेंट उन्हें आश्वासन देते रहे लेकिन बाद में फोन उठाना बंद कर दिया। इस दौरान इतना जरूर पता लगा कि अल वतूल जहाज को ईरानी कोस्टल गार्ड ने अपने कब्जे में ले लिया है।

ज्यादा छानबीन की गई तो पता चला कि जहाज रास्ता भटककर ईरानी सीमा में चला गया और जहाज पर तैनात सभी कर्मियों को तस्करी के आरोप में गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है।

कोई चारा न देख परिजनों ने बंदर अब्बास स्थित भारतीय वाणिज्य दूतावास से संपर्क किया। बार-बार फोन करने पर कार्रवाई का ‘आश्वासन’ मिला। लेकिन इससे ज्यादा कुछ नहीं हुआ। युवकों में से एक भूपेंद्र सिंह के पिता राजेंद्र सिंह चौधरी और रूंदला बंधुओं के रिश्तेदारों ने भारत में ईरानी दूतावास और विदेश मंत्रालय से भी जानने की कोशिश की लेकिन नतीजा... वही ढाक के तीन पात।

15 मई को एक युवक सरवन सिंह की मौत हो गई तो परिजनों को कंपनी की ओर से इसकी खबर मिली और शव भेजने के लिए तीन लाख रुपये खर्चे के रूप में जमा करने की बात कही गई। सेवानिवृत फौजी पिता ने पैसे देने में असमर्थता जताई तो 18 अगस्त को उसके शव को दिल्ली भेज दिया गया। जहां उसके परिजनों ने इसे प्राप्त कर लिया। इस मामले में जब ईरानी दूतावास से पता किया गया तो बताया गया कि सरवन की मौत हृदय गति रुक जाने से हुई। जबकि एजेंटों से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार इन युवकों को ईरानी कोस्ट गार्ड ने हिरासत में लिया था। ईरान में भारतीय दूतावास से संपर्क करने पर बताया गया कि जहाज पर समुद्री लुटेरों का हमला हुआ था जिसमें सरवन की मौत हुई। बहरहाल, सरवन के जिस्म पर चोट का कोई निशान न था।

सरवन के पिता भूरे सिंह की अपने बेटे से आखिरी बात 28 अप्रैल को हुई थी जिसमें उसने घर के लिए 40 हजार रुपये भेजने की बात कही थी।

इस घटना से अन्य युवकों के परिजनों की चिंताएं बढ़ गईं। संसाधनों के हिसाब से प्रयासों में और तेजी लाने की कोशिश की गई। अबू धाबी के भारतीय दूतावास में यहां के कामगारों की मदद में जुटे भारतीय कामगार संसाधन केंद्र (IWRC) से संपर्क स्थापित किया गया तो उन्होंने कोई जानकारी मिलने पर सूचना देने की बात कही।

अब सवाल यह है कि यदि किसी भारतीय के साथ विदेशों में कोई अनहोनी होती है तो इसमें उनके परिजनों की मदद के लिए कौन मौजूद है।

दूतावासों से संपर्क किया जाए तो जल्द कार्रवाई करने के 'सरकारी' जवाब मिलते हैं। विदेश मंत्रालय से बात की जाए तो वे दूतावास से संपर्क करने की बात कह देते हैं। एक दूसरे पर टोपी रखने का क्रम अनवरत चलता रहता है। निर्दोष भारतीयों के विदेशों में जाकर कहीं फंस जाने की स्थिति में भारत सरकार के पास क्या समाधान है।

इस बार सवाल 10 नवयुवकों का है। उनसे जुड़ी जिंदगियों का है। उन लोगों का है जिनके घर में उनके परिजन बेसब्री से उनका इंतजार कर रहे हैं। हर फोन की आहट पर उन्हें लगता है कि जैसे उनके बेटे ने आवाज दी है...

इंटरनेट पर बृज मंडल को एक प्रभावशाली उपस्थिति देने के उद्देश्य से बनाई गई आगराटुडे.इन को नए रंगरूप में आपके सामने पेश करते हुए मुझे बहुत खुशी हो रही है। नया संस्करण पहले की तुलना में कहीं ज्यादा बड़ा और बेहतर है। पिछले एक साल के दौरान आपके दिए गए लगभग सभी सुझावों को हमने इस नए संस्करण में शामिल करने की कोशिश की है।

तीन साल पहले जब हमने इसी उद्देश्य के लिए आगरालाइव.इन को लॉन्च किया था तो यह अपने तरह की पहली कोशिश थी। आगराटुडे.इन के रूप में और बेहतर मंच स्थापित किए जाने के बाद हमें हमारे पाठकों का एक अच्छा प्रतिसाद मिला है।

बीते साल के दौरान, विचारों के आदान-प्रदान, रायशुमारी और सूचना मुहैया करने के अपने लक्ष्य में आगराटुडे.इन को कई सफलताएं हासिल हुईं।

आप में से कई पाठकों ने साल की शुरुआत में आयोजित किए गए सर्वश्रेष्ठ आगराइट के चयन में अपने वोटों द्वारा खास भूमिका निभाई। इस सफल आयोजन से आगराटुडे.इन ने आगरा के ऑनलाइन इतिहास में एक विशिष्ट स्थान बनाया।

अब मैं जिक्र करूंगा आगराटुडे.इन में समाविष्ट उन नए तत्वों का जो पिछले संस्करण में नहीं थे।

शुरुआत करते हैं लोगो से... लोगो में बृज क्षेत्र के सांस्कृतिक और पारंपरिक तत्व को प्रमुखता से दर्शाया गया है। आगरा की पहचान ताज महल और मथुरा-वृंदावन की पहचान भगवान श्रीकृष्ण और राधा की छवियों को उभारा गया है।

पाठकों को सरल नेविगेशन मुहैया कराने के लिए तीन मीनू रखे गए हैं। पहले, मुख्य मीनू में सभी आवश्यक सेक्शन जैसे समाचार, संपादकीय, बृज के गौरव, विद्यार्थी कोना, पुस्तकें व पर्यटन आदि दिए गए हैं।

दूसरे मीनू में स्वनामधन्य लेखकों के नियमित कॉलम रखे गए हैं। तीसरे मीनू में हमारे बारे में, विज्ञापन संबंधी सूचनाएं तथा निजता नीति आदि कानूनी पहलुओं की जानकारी दी गई है।

साइट के दायीं ओर गैलरी सेक्शन दिया गया है। इसमें फोटो गैलरी और कार्टून कॉर्नर को बारी-बारी से दिखाया जाएगा।

इसके ठीक नीचे नवीनतम समाचार, सबसे ज्यादा देखी गई विषय सामग्री, सूचनाएं और वर्गीकृत विज्ञापन रखे गए हैं।

बायीं ओर सबसे ऊपर साइट पर मौजूद सामग्री को ढूढने की व्यवस्था दी गई है।

साइट के मुख्य भाग में सबसे पहले मुख्य समाचार तथा साथ में चार अन्य समाचार रखे गए हैं। खास बात यह है कि इस बार पाठक रचना को पढ़ने के साथ-साथ उसे रेटिंग भी दे सकते हैं। इसके अलावा, रचना को पीडीएफ फॉर्मेट में देखा जा सकता है, उसका प्रिंट लिया जा सकता है, और यही नहीं इसे अपने दोस्तों को भेजा भी जा सकता है। प्रत्येक रचना के साथ उससे संबंधित अन्य रचनाओं के लिंक्स भी दिए जाएंगे। ताकि पाठक रचना से संबंधित अन्य मौजूद जानकारी हासिल कर सकें।

It is a great pleasure to present you this new version of our news website for the whole of Braj Mandal, Agratoday.in, more attractive and user- friendly than the earlier version.

When we launched Agralive.in three years ago, it became a kind of trend setter. The rechristened Agratoday.in has surprised us with a committed following and continuous feedback from our visitors, clients and patrons who have found the platform useful and unique.

Indeed in terms of sharing ideas, opinions and information Agratoday.in has scored quite a few successes. On several occasions breaking news stories much in demand these days, have been widely appreciated.
Many of you may have participated in the end of the year unique poll for the most popular personality of Agra. The tremendous response through emails and SMSs helped popularize the site, which now is poised for a make-over to attract the younger set.

Many new features are being added. We would however continue to evolve and rediscover ourselves in this process of up-gradation. So if you have any ideas please let us know.

My colleague Dharmendra Kumar and his team do not want to rest on the laurels and be easily satisfied. He is now keen to take bigger challenges and incorporate some more innovative designing. He promises this will definitely be a very interesting and useful website in days to come. Needless to say, the contents will receive our full attention and we will not shy away from calling a spade a spade where public interest is involved.

The answer to the question why this website? First there are a whole lot of people of Agra origin spread all over the world. They are keen to know what is happening back home. Two, the mainstream newspapers do not always have the time and space for views and information that affect their commercial prospects. Here our website intends filling the gap.

Let me now tell you about the new features that have been incorporated to give it a new look and prove more useful for our valuable fans and users.

Let’s start from the logo. Logo gives the prominent impression of cultural and traditional aspect of Braj region. The identity of Agra, The Taj Mahal and of Mathura-Vrindavan, Lord Krishna and Radha appear on the logo.

For smooth navigation, there are three Menus on site one by one. First is Main Menu, which have Links for various sections as ‘News’, ‘Braj Ke Gaurav’, ‘Students’ Corner’, ‘Just Books’ ‘Editorial’ and ‘Tourism’. Second, the Special Menu, has various columns of famous columnists on various contemporary issues.
The third menu is for the legal and advertisement aspects of the website. It includes ‘About Us’, ‘Advertisement Enquiry’, ‘Privacy Policy’ and ‘Legal Disclaimer’ etc. On the right panel of the site, there is a ‘Gallery’ which includes ‘Photo Gallery’ and ‘Cartoon Corner’ one by one. Below this, there are ‘Latest News’, ‘Popular’ stories, ‘Information’ and ‘Classifieds’ are given.

On left panel, there is a ‘Search’ field, by which users can search older stories on the website.

In the main body of the website, the top story is being presented with four other stories. Four more stories’ links are also provided at the bottom. Visitors would now be able to rate stories according to their interests and judgments.

Besides it, the story can be seen in PDF format, print can be taken and even one can send the story to friends. Related stories links also would be provided with each story. There would be more features for registered users. If they register themselves at below left panel.

RSS 2.0 version is also available for the visitors. With this service you can get the regular updates on your desktop. Even, you can add this service to your blog or Facebook profile.

A Poll Question has also been added.

क्लीन यमुना अभियान 22 मार्च को

आगरा/नई दिल्ली (भारत)(मीडियाभारती सिंडीकेशन सर्विस) 17 मार्च : रिवर्स ऑफ द वर्ल्ड (आरओडब्ल्यू) के तहत यमुना फाउंडेशन फॉर ब्लू वाटर के तत्वावधान में 22 मार्च को आगरा और दिल्ली में एकसाथ यमुना सफाई अभियान का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। अभियान के तहत स्वयंसेवकों द्वारा यमुना नदी में बिखरे कूड़े-करकट को साफ किया जाएगा।

एलिस फर्गुसन फाउंडेशन द्वारा इसी तरह का एक अभियान वाशिंगटन में पोटोमैक नदी पर चलाया जा रहा है। भारत में चलाए जाने वाले इस अभियान में भी इस संगठन का सहयोग लिया जा रहा है। यमुना फाउंडेशन फॉर ब्लू वाटर के एक्जीक्यूटिव डायरेक्टर सुबिजॉय दत्ता ने बताया कि यमुना नदी को पवित्र नदियों में से एक माना जाता है और जब तक यमुना नदी को अपना प्राकृतिक स्वरूप वापस नहीं मिलता, इस तरह के अभियान चलाए जाते रहेंगे।
आगराटुडे.इन के संपादक बृज खंडेलवाल ने बताया यमुना नदी को प्रदूषण से बचाने के लिए संगठित प्रयासों की आवश्यकता है। नागरिकों को इसके शुद्धिकरण के लिए सरकार का मुंह ताकने के बजाय स्वयं उठ खड़े हो जाना चाहिए ताकि यमुना के लगातार हो रहे क्षय को रोका जा सका।

22 मार्च को आयोजित क्लीन यमुना अभियान के अंतर्गत स्वयंसेवकों द्वारा ताज महल से पोइया घाट के बीच यमुना नदी के किनारे दर्जनों स्थानों पर सफाई अभियान चलाया जाएगा। स्वयंसेवकों के लिए हाथों के दस्ताने और कूड़ा भरने के बड़े थैले उपलब्ध कराए जाएंगे। रिसाइकल किए जा सकने वाले कूड़े करकट को अलग छांटकर नागरपालिका के रिसाइक्लिंग सेटर पर भेज दिया जाएगा।

Rivers Of The World Foundation Plans To Conduct Yamuna Cleanup On March 22

Agra/New Delhi (India) (Mediabharti Syndication Service) 16 March: The Yamuna Foundation for Blue Water, under the umbrella of the Rivers of the World (ROW) Foundation begins a Campaign to cleanup the Yamuna River with Volunteers picking up trash on March 22nd Agra and Delhi. This project in India is in partnership and motivated by a similar project in Washington to Clean-up the Potomac River by the Alice Ferguson Foundation. In both cases, these major rivers are polluted in varying degrees impacting the lifeline of the people living there. Both flow through the Capitals of their countries.

Subijoy Dutta, Executive Director of the Yamuna Foundation for Blue Water announced, “We start now to clean up the Yamuna with our hands. We will continue cleanups until river becomes, once again, clean and blue. The Yamuna River is sacred. It is a life source. We can not continue to trash it!”

The United States partner in the Trash Cleanup Project is The Alice Ferguson Foundation. The Foundation will lead its 22nd Annual Potomac River Watershed Cleanup in April 2010.

Brij Khandelwal, Editor (Consult), Mediabharti.com and Coordinator of the Agra Yamuna Cleanup, said a sustained mass movement was necessary. "Citizens should stop looking to the government for everything but initiate action on their own to stop further degradation of the river."

The Yamuna River Cleanup in Agra takes place on coming March 22nd. Volunteers will clean up trash from Taj mahal to Poiya Ghat at about a dozen points on the bank of the Yamuna River

Coated gloves will be given to all Volunteers to protect hands and Blue plastic bags will be used to collect recyclable items and orange bags for trash to be disposed. The recyclables will be transported to the municipal recycling center; arrangements are being made for the non-recyclables to be picked up by the city garbage collection system.

Delhi Coordinator, Suresh Nair and DK Mital for the Yamuna River Cleanup are committed to the Yamuna Foundations’ motto “…to turn the Yamuna Blue” and agrees that it will take a major effort on the part of all sectors of the Delhi community to turn this issue around.

देशभर में होली की धूम है। बीते हफ्ते संसद में पेश हुए बजट के बाद अपनी जेब को हल्का महसूस कर रहे लोग सब कुछ भूल-भालकर होली के रंगीन माहौल में डूबे हुए नजर आए। रंगों की ऐसी बरसात हो रही है कि किसी का चेहरा पहचानने लायक नहीं रह गया है। कोई नीला तो कोई लाल, हरा और पीला हो चुका है।

देश के विश्व प्रसिद्ध घाटों, गलियों और सड़कों पर आम लोगों के साथ विदेशी पर्यटक भी नगाड़ों तथा ढोलकों की थाप पर होली गाते-नाचते और एकदूसरे पर रंग उड़ेलने में व्यस्त दिखे।

फिल्मी और लोक धुनों पर मानो पूरा देश ही भांग और ठंडई पीकर झूम रहा हो। जहां देखिए वहां लोग एक दूसरे के घरों में पहुंचकर रंग और अबीर आपस में मलते-रगड़ते नजर आ रहे हैं।

लोग सुबह से ही टोलियां बनाकर निकल पड़े तथा अपने मित्रों के घरों पर दस्तक देने लगे। जो लोग अपने घरों से स्वयं नहीं निकले उन्हें मनाकर या डराकर घरों से बाहर निकाला गया और फिर अपनी टोली में शामिल कर लिया गया।

गंगा के घाटों पर तो अजब मस्ती छाई हुई है। विदेशी पर्यटक भी अपने को नहीं रोक सके और रंगों में सराबोर होकर उन्होंने भी मल्लाहों तथा स्थानीय लोगों के साथ ठुमके लगाए।

Indian writer Kiran Desai was awarded Britain's prestigious Man Booker Prize on October 10 for "The Inheritance of Loss," a cross-continental saga that moves from the Himalayas to New York City.

Desai, daughter of novelist and 3-time Booker Prize nominee, Anita Desai, had been one of the favorites for the 50,000 pound prize.

"To my mother I owe a debt so profound and so great that this book feels as much hers as it does mine," said Desai as she accepted her award.

35-year-old Kiran, the youngest ever female recipient of the prize, held off the challenge of 5 other nominees, including the favorite, Sarah Waters, and her novel "The Night Watch," a story of love and loss during World War II. Bunick's script was about 2 young men from Brooklyn who travel to South Beach, where one of them quickly gets involved with the club and modeling scenes, according to the federal suit.

A recurring theme in his script "is that the main character is from Brooklyn, New York, and that he is, in many ways, out of his element in South Beach, Miami," lawsuit said.

UPN's website says South Beach is about best friends Matt and Vincent, who "abandon their world as they know it and head to the alluring paradise of sandy beaches, beautiful people and hot spots in glamorous South Beach."

Bunick claims his agent spoke to UPN and sent a copy of his script to Lopez in February 2000 but he was never contacted by the network. He is seeking monetary damages.
